May. 26, 2012 The end of things The last couple of weeks have been a series of endings. My favorite neighbor passed away and it made me so sad, a lot sadder then I expected. His funeral was held on an insanely bright day and that seemed so odd. Mourning and sunshine should not be in the same space, IMO anyway. I cried till my face resembled a tomato, a squishy tomato with squinty eyes. It is not like I never think about death, I have panic disorder and anyone who has this will tell you we are the royalty of worriers, we mentally scan for any possible or not so possible threats in any situation. This is actually a useful quality for someone who works with small children to have, so that is one positive for me. Still thinking about something and then having to get a lot closer to it at a funeral are two different things. I will be graduating community college in the fall with an A.A. in early childhood education and then I will go onto university to finish and receive a B.A. in early childhood education. After I graduate in the fall, I am off to look for a job as a teacher’s assistant to help me pay for my bachelor’s, my G.P.A. is really high so scholarships will help but alas, not enough. I will finish volunteering with the kindergarten classes in two weeks. I will miss those little guys, they were fun and basically well behaved *SMILE*. I learned a lot this year and I was so lucky to have teachers that allowed me to not only work with the children and learn new techniques for working with the children but who also tried when they had a moment(which isn’t often!) to teach me how to be a teacher. I will miss them as well. I also have my first teaching internship in the fall and I am very excited and nervous about that. I pray I will do well. Hugs,

Dear Diary,
. Yes, I really did jump up and down a bit, because I am a dork, and we do that. The thing is I felt strangely relaxed before this test. Almost xanax relaxed
, so I think that helped.
Today at school I spent most of the time working with the kids! I am always like 
when I work with the kids because I want to be ready before they do something kindergarten like.. you know stand on their chairs and try to fly, etc. One little boy was coughing his brains out so I took him to the nurse, who said he was fine but I still watched him for a while like he was holding a hand grenade. She told me he had asthma so I was on full alert.
